i have a 93 gt, and the grey around the bottom is really peeling off bad on my front end. i do not have the money right now for a piant job. so i have decided to put a bra on the front to hide the peeling paint. i dont really like bras on mustangs, but i think it will look better than peeling paint. wich bra should i go with? i have seen the lebras and they look descent, or what about a colgan? any opinions would be great just want something that fits really good and doesnt flap around
thanks alot

the bra will destroy the paint underneath. when i bought my stang it had a bra on it. when i took it off it was all messed up underneath. you could paint the bottom ground effect will flexible argent paint. that is what i did and the car looks great now that the wheels and the grey (silver) match. i'll post a pic if you want me to, prolly tomorrow.

The key to having a bra on a car is to remove it any time there is moisture trapped under it from rain, and to remove it when washing the car. Thats what I've been told by friends who've worked in the auto body industry. When I bought my car, it came with a genuine Ford bra and hood guard (not installed) and i put it on once just to see how it fit, and it was perfect (no surprise, I cant imagine what that thing cost from the Ford dealership).

I only intend to use it if I take a long trip with the car (not likely, but it would be great). The only reason I kept it is because its a geniune Ford piece.

As far as brands go, I think Lebra is okay, as well as Wolf (i think thats what the company is).

Hope this helps!
