ok first off a little background on the car in question. Its a 91 notchback 5.0 has stainless steel brake corporations big brake upgrade in front and rear discs too. Lately i've noticed about 5 to 10 miles after driving it from resting The brake pedal pulsates the steering wheel shakes right to left and the car pulls to the left upon braking at cruising speed. Now i know one time i tightened up the wheel bearings and it gave it a smooth ride again yet it still faintly pulled to the left but now it pulls pretty strong again. So i was wondering whats my next step. DO i get new wheel bearings or grease the current ones, or do i get an alignment , or since the brakes are fairly new maybe the master cylinder or proportioning valve might be over-adjusted and grabbing a tad too much which could possibly cause the pull and shaking steering wheel. Any help or advice is appreciated. Thank you.

While an alignment is never a bad idea if you havent had one in a while, if it happens only during braking then Id lean more toward that area. And if it pulls to the left, that usually means theres a problem on the right side (frozen slides or caliper). Though make sure you check ball joints, tie rods and be sure the tire pressures are equal side to side.
