front end noise

I know its not a mustang but i dont know where else to post...but my friends expedition is making front end noise, its coming from the driver side and its a clunking noise. It doesnt happen when you turn the wheel, it happens when you go over humps in the road or bumps. Any Clue?

Not sure about the Expeditions, but some of the older Explorers were known to break swaybar end links, and they'll definitely clunk afterward. Just replaced some on my dad's Explorer about 6-7 months ago, and it's been problem free since. Parts were like $9.99 at Napa.
