hey guys,

I'm looking for a new front end suspension rebuild kit as I know I'll need to be replacing those components sooner or later anyway...what do you guys think of the one from Mustangsplus???

http://www.mustangsplus.com/Merchan...PFMP&Product_Code=08502&Category_Code=rbldkit

Any experience with that kit or a similiar one?

and 1 follow up question...how hard is it to install the upper/lower control arms/ etc???

Thanks in advance

I was going to get my kit from mustang plus but 2 things put me off.

Firstly i would rather use Midolyne bushings as my car is for street use, it will never see a track, so i dont want a harsh and squeeky ride.

Secondly a lot of poeple on this board have had bad things to say about Mustangplus, which is never a good thing.

I was going to get mine from american pony as they seem to be the only ones doing the midolyne.

I suggest American Pony also. The Midolyne bushings are the way to go and you will get away alot cheaper from them too. Mustangs Plus is on my "vendors to boycott" list for many reasons that I am not going to get into here but I will say that there are a lot of people who feel the same as I do.

I plan on getting my suspension kit from MP too. I talked to one of their sales men and he seemed...ok. Ordering from them will probably come back to bite me in the ass.

I did my entire suspension setup thru M+, never had any complaints with them and the parts are great. btw my susp does not squeak at all under normal driving conditions. if you go up and donw the radiused curbs in our driveway or hard driving i do hear a little squeak but nothing worth getting upseat over.

http://www.americanpony.com/store/store.mv?

Go about half way down the page and you will see their master rebuild kits with a lifetime warranty. They also have packages for suspension handling.

Dark horse, why would he go to a late model site for a 66? Do they offer classic kits?
