its the mach system with a kameleon h/u, and my front left speaker doesnt work. where can i start looking for problems? i pulled the speaker off, and the first connection was fine. are there any other connections that could have come lose, or something else?

It's most likely the speaker itself. Try just hooking it up to a boom-box or something to test it.

put a ohm meter across the speaker leads and see what the resistance is,it will tell you if the vc is blown

This also works but he'll need to know what to look for. A typical FACTORY speaker is 8 ohms. It should show about 7 ohms on a multi-meter. If it's less than say-5 ohms then the speaker is damaged but should work. If there's no impedence showing then it's totally cooked.
