front lower control arms

I recently had a bad experiance with my front lower a arm on my 07 stang gt, with only 7000 miles on the car and carefully driving, the front pass side a arm failed. The weld cracked at the bushing and the tire got pushed up into the well. 1900+ dollars later i think it's time for a change.
Doe's anyone know if there is any difference between a mustang gt front a arm and a gt500 arm, is the 500 much stronger, i want to replace the stock ones with something better. Thanks

Don't know, but I have a feeling that your situation is unique. This is the first I've heard of such a problem, not that it hasn't happened before, but this is new. I've been all over the forums since '04 when I bought my car.

I believe the GT500 lower arms are the same except that the ball joints are longer to correct for the lowered suspension. I'm sure that there are other aftermarket options out there but this is the only one that I know of.

the GT500 arms have different ball joints, nothing else. dont waste your time buyinhg them.
