I'm putting the front supsension together and in it's current totally unsprung state I can't get the KYB gas adjust shocks in. About an inch too short which I know will change as soon as it's on wheels but it still seemed odd. Is this normal? With the car jacked up the shock will be holding up a fair bit of spring compression I would think but I really haven't noticed this before so I don't know if that's typical.

As you can see it's all as low as it could possibly be at the moment

No it's Ford candy apple red with an extra bunch of pure red toner thrown in, it was too dark for my liking so I tweaked it. The color is totally different than this pic shows, not at all orange like that. Here's a couple different pics. Every pic I have shows it differently due to the light.

Meanwhile I figured out the shock question I had, did the 1" Shelby control arm drop so the shock is an inch short. I assume that doesn't matter, all the pieces were put together as a group by Opentracker so it should be good to go.

Very nice . Yeah the shock should never run out, unless you go Dukes of Hazzarding .

The Duke's Dodges were "General Lee" very bent at the end of the show. No creek jumping in a Mustang.
