Front shocks on a blown car?

Wow its good to be back here. Now that im back to working on the stang and I only drive it, maybe 3000 miles a year and I no longer care about mpg's im tossing around the idea of putting a 351 in and adding a blower. If I do this will I need to change anything on the suspension? That seems like it would be a big increase in weight. Right now im Have a Stock front suspension and a 302.

I'm in the works for the same thing. I'm building a 351w and plan to put my supercharger on it in my 66. I'm swapping in 620 coils and koni's with opentracker roller spring perches.

If you were to go with aluminum heads and intake, the weight you saved would put you right in the neihborhood of the weight of the 289 with cast iron everything.

Thanks for the help, I'll have to see what heads and intake I go with to decide on the shocks and springs. Now I just have to get my hands on the block and stroke it. (umm.. that sounds bad, owell)
