front spindles

are the front spindles and a-arms the same on an 82 gt as a 90 gt?

just wanted to know cuz im sellin my brakes to a friend that has an 82 and was wondering if i need to change his a-arms or spindles so he has his stock width...should be able to just put the rotors and calipers on..rite?
