Front suspension questions....

I was just wanting some opinions on front suspension. I was wanting to go
with a tubular front K-member, mainly for weight savings. I was just wondering about how much weight would i shave off the front end? Also i was wondering if the stock a-arms and everything would bolt back up to one, i will eventually switch those to tubular A-arms also. And what type of shocks/springs should i use? I was going to put 4 banger spings under the front, is this the best thing to do? Or would coil overs be better? I'm mainly wanting to use the car on the street, daily driven car. Thanks to everyone who helps me...Im very curious about this.

Hiya... check the links under your post there and look into some of the produvt details. Different pieces will have different weight savings. You can expect (roughly) a 75 lb saving from K-member, A-arms, and coil-overs. That's a WAG (wild ass guess) since like I said... it'll be deifferent depending on vendor and setup. Personally, I would steer clear of those k-members that have what's called an "Engine Set Back". It's a classy term used to describ your wheels being pushed forward. It creates problems of it's own.
