Hey guys; I'm getting a rebuilt steering box from Lee Manufacturing and I'm thinking I need to take care of the rest of the front suspension and steering as well. I am on a budget so I am wondering if I need to replace all the parts, some of the parts, or just the bushings and ball joints?
Also, what do you guys think about just replacing the power steering pump with a stock replacement from Auto Zone?
From what I can tell the parts look solid, nothing appears bent or out of shape. I've already replaced the coil springs and have plan on getting the Edelbrock IAS shocks.
What I'm looking for is a good driving/handling street car.

Well, you don't really need to replace the suspension components unless your existing stuff is worn out. I'd take it to an alignment shop and let them tell you what need to be replaced.

As for your power steering stuff. Check out this guy and his site. www.stangerssite.com I recently had him rebuild all of my power steering stuff with the exception of the pump, and they turned out really well.
