The problem:
I have a 1970 302 in my 92' Notch. With an Moroso Oil pan in there. Its a 7 qt. shallow. (Wider in the back). When I raise the front of the car for any service purpose, the sway bar will push against the front drain plug. Is there any after market sway bars that will clear this when the car is raised? Or do I have to pull the sway bar off each time I have to lift the vehicle? Unfortunately when it was getting serviced it rested against the plug for a while, and guess what, now I have a small leak in a brand new oil pan...

Are you saying you're jacking the car up with the swaybar as your jacking point? That might be your problem..maybe the swaybar isn't strong enough. If it's a serious problem you might wanna pull the pan off and cut/reweld the plug in a different spot and weld the old hole shut.

No, i am not jacking the car up by the sway bar. Yeah, I could do that, but I really dont want too, since I would have to pull the motor, and pay someone to weld and whatnot. The new sway bar would be much easier. This is just a pain in the butt for me. Thanks for the input though.
