front sway bar question

I removed mine the other day when I installed my intake and it seems like the front is lighter and wants to come up more. So it might allow for a better weight transfer causing some gains in the quarter. I have also heard of people gaining from it but never seen actual proof.

yeah, folks have done it. I would ONLY do it on a track-only car. the rest of the time it would be nice if you could make decent evasive maneuvers around moronic SUV drivers etc. I think the same of skinnies on a mostly DD - not a wise decision when a panic stop comes up.

folks have unbolted it and left it hanging or tied it up - it is not so much the weight (though it helps) but its actual unbolting that helps. makes it easy to retain it and yet not have it functional at the track.

My two cents. good luck.
