Suspension Front Sway bar replacement brackets???

Hello all I'm new to the site and need some help. I have an 89 5.0 hatchback and have broken front sway bar bracket. Can't seem to find replacement brackets any where to match up with the O.E.M. set-up? Also have a bolt broken off into the mating part in the subframe that doesn't want to come out. Anyone know of a good replacement set-up for this issue? The original equipment brackets are so thin I can't believe I'm the only one with this issue but can't find replacements anywhere? I can find the bushings and the u shaped piece but it doesn't match up properly? Any and all help would be very helpful.

To my knowledge, and from what I've read, OEM style front sway bar brackets are not available for the Foxes. You can find them for 94-95, but not '93 and earlier. Best bet, and what I did, was pull some off a 4 cyl in the junkyard. The bracket is the same as the V8; the only difference in the bushing inside the bracket because the sway bar is larger on the V8.

Thanks for the input. I was afraid of that. Hard to believe that no one makes a replacement considering how chincy the original ones are.

You may want to add these as the OEM brackets are prone to snapping at the spot welds.
