I tried to install my Roush swaybars yesterday and I ran into a bit of a problem.

After the fastener on the driver side broke it just started to free spin in place and it would not come out. To make matters worse it it would not go back in either to tighten so now the car makes this loud clunk over the smallest bumps on the road.

That I could see there is no way to secure the back of the endlink with another wrench so that I could finish the job.

Does anyone have an idea on what to do now?

does it look at all like the stock endlink?

On the stock link there is a hex end on the bolt you can get a socket on

Well it is the stock endlink. Digging around on the Interweb i found an article on Mustang Monthly where they show a swaybar install on the 05+ mustang and it appears that you have to hold the bolt in place with a box end wrench while loosening the nut to prevent it from free spinning.

I wonder if anyone makes a beefier non adjustable type of endlink for the fronts. All the aftermarket units I've seen are adjustable.

Well I guess that's one avoided headache I thought I had broken something which sucks because now my swaybar install slips another week!

Gotta be patient I guess.
