I have a Question and know that it has probably been asked before, but I cant seem to find it on here.

What freaking size of Wheel Studs do I need to get for the Front Rims. I have recently purchased a set of Weld Pro Star 96 Series "Fats & Skinnies" and need to know what size of bolt to get. I know that I need 3" long 1/2 X 20 but what freaking knurl (??spelling??) size do I need to get.

I have a 2004 Mustang GT

Thanks a Million for anyone that can help me with this or direct me to an answer. I am forever greatful.

Check with Steeda. I think they sell a wheel stud kit for just what you are doing.

OK !!! After some serious freakin reserch in this little PO-DUNK town that I live in I finally found some guy with a Dorman Parts Book that had all the specs for Wheel Studs.

For you 2000 - 2004 Mustang owners here are the Specs as follows:

Front = .582 Knurl
1/2 X 20
47/64 Shoulder
2" Length

Rear = .615 Knurl
1/2 X 20
17/32 Shoulder
1 31/32 Length

These are the Specs for the Stock Wheel Studs.

If you are just doing the Front like I am, You need to go with the 3" Length w/ the same above specs.

Hope this helps everyone else out. I came on here for help and still had to go out and do it by myself. I just figured that SOMEONE would have already done this and could have posted it.
