FRPP HCI vs. TFS HCI

Okay guys I am looking at both kits. 50resto carries both of them

the FRPP kit includes GT40X heads, E303 Cam, and Cobra Intake and all the bells and whistles that the TFS Kit includes. (Valve Covers, Roller Rockers, etc) My question is I am assuming the TFS Kit will make more HP, is that safe to assume; but would the FRPP kit give a better torque curve for a street crusier that see's mild track time. I'm not looking for a dyno queen im looking for a torque king and one day am planning on a KB Blowzilla 2.2L and stroking it to 331.

Second question is with the FRPP kit could you run 24 lb injectors or would u suggest running 30 lb injectors? People have told me with the TFS Kit you should run 30lb injectors, so I was wondering if that would hold true for the FRPP Kit.

i have no experience with the FRPP kit however, i do have the TFS kit and i can tell you that it has lots of torque. no dyno yet so sorry. the other thing i would hav eyou consider is that the with TFS kit each part is designed specifically for the rest of the parts. though im sur ethe ford kit is good i don't know that it would be better. just my $.02

no im still on 19's need to switch to 24's but my biggest problem now if i did the MAF conversion from SD, so i still have a stock size MAF which is 55mm and only allows 545cfm through and the heads and everyhthing else allow almost 820CFM so im choking it like mad now

Go with the tfs kit. Youll be making high power up top, and you wont notice much of a difference in torque from both kits imo. The dyno may prove there is a difference, but you said yourself you dont want a dyno queen. The tfs kit is new technology made to perform. Go with the TFS kit.

And I know a few people using stock injectors on the tfs kit, id go with 24lbers

Exactly. Those heads were good back in the day, but there outdated imo. They can put good numbers but I'd bet money that the tfs kit shows gains all accross the board. The heads are good if you can find a deal on em, but since nothing goes right with me, I'll just pony up and get the best heads I can ger.

24's, 30's would be overdoing it quite abit.

Go with 24's. You won't need anything bigger until you are stroked or boostin. I think the TFS kit would be a better platform to upgrade from in the future. Especially if you are going to run boost.

I'n not sure if the Trick Flow head will match up with a GT40 Lower intake if I were gonna go KB down the road

My Typhoon lower didn't match too well with my TW heads, but a call to Tmoss is all it needed.
Anderson Ford Motorsport has a kit with TW heads, an N-41 cam and a Typhoon intake with all the other stuff the other kits come with. I know a few people trapping 110+MPH with the same H/C/I combo.

I didn't have any problems matching mine up. I'd also go with 24#'s.

I have the whole tfs h/c/i and im running 24# injectors. Its pretty strong for being a 302.
