FRPP Headers Question??

I bought these headers....

They came with 4 studs with larger threads on one end than the other and nuts for them....my question is, I know the larger end goes into the threaded flange of the headers but I havent figured out what the nuts are for. They'll only go on about 3 turns on the supplied studs...I tried both ends of all four

the nuts are for holding the H or X pipe to the collector of the Header.

The nuts are locking nuts. They're made to not back off. They'll go on, they're just really tight. Word: Put some loc-tite on the threads going into the flange or the studs will come out with the nuts on them if you ever try to remove them.
