well guys since the last time i posted, decide to go a new route with what i have so. going to be posting the build up of my single turbo kit being built by some friends of mine and myself.
it is going to consist of a pretty close to what i already had just with a turbo setting up top. should be hell of fun with 3.27 gears and a t-56 6speed tranny thats already in the car!
gonna freshen up the block. have the heads rite now at FTI seeing if they can be fixed first. i did some pretty bad damage when dropping the #5 cyl exhaust valve. also damage the piston pretty bad going to replace that also.
have tore down pretty much everything already painting the engine bay to match the outside of the car lazer red! going to try have a very clean install on everthing. the turbo consist of a turbonetics 62-1 mm, with a turbo concepts wastegate and forge motorsports bypass valve! going to be flipping some shorty headers and David will making the hot side/cold side for me. order the bypass already waiting for it to arrive.
also just bought the upr tubular k-member kit chromoly and all this past weekend at funford for $ 599 cash should be going in this weekend when we pull the motor and tranny. will post some pics when done.
just got the pulleys and bracket back from the powedercoater.
