Fuel Filter Quick Disconnect

How do you use the quick disconnect tool on a 03 gt to remove the fuel filter?

Put the tool around the line, put the tabs into the fitting part. It slides in there. You have to push the male part of the tool, and pull the female part of the line. I did it the first time in the dark. It was no fun when you have never done it before. But you just play with it and all the sudden it will come off.

X2...seems like at first you are doing something wrong but if you keep working at it they will pop loose.
