Hi guys!
My gas gauge hasn't worked for a while now. Turns out its the gauge itself. Anyways I replace the guage with a spare fuel gauge from a 91 dash I used for my 140 mph conversion on my 88.
Replaced gauge placed a 85 ohm resistor on the body side sending unit connector. Installed needle at half way on fuel guage. Turn power on and my needle spins over to the opposite side of cluster(the blind side). Any ideas or thoughts why it would do this? Both gauges have the same ohm readings.
I'm open for any suggestions on a fix. Thanks
