my stock in-car fuel guage doesnt work. it is stuck on Full, SOMETIMES it flucuates, my fuel pump is about 2 years old, the guy replaced it when i bought it. any ideas... i heard many things that could be wrong including a ground wire or something, so any ideas please

there is a anti slosh module as well for the gauge. i might check the resistance of the sending wire though - that jumps out at me since it fluctuates. you might have to goose the wiring to see if it changes.

good luck.

The fuel guage wiring is different from the pump wiring. The guage sits in the middle of the tank. I believe the wiring goes back to a connector just in front of the rear bumper. Disconnect it and see if the guage drops to zero. You can test the ohms on the sending unit in the tank right there also with it disconnected.

your stock guage doesnt work... wow, i wold have never thought that could happen

anyway, as you can tell, some of mine dont work. try replacing the sending units, if that doesnt work, its the gauge.
