One question, do you already have a v8 or do you have a six cylinder? That will make a big difference in the ease of adding EFI.

This is a bolt on kit that frankly is very easy to install. Plug and play sorta speak, however that convenience comes at a price. I have this kit on my car and am very happy with it, I wanted to keep as much as possible the "vintage look" of the engine. I just don't care for the look of the donor installs in the early cars. Just my opinion.

I'm going to give you a piece of advice since I am willing to bet you don't know much about cars yet. When it comes to working on cars, you only have 2 things. You either have time or money. It may not seem like it now, but as you get older that statement gets more and more true.
My advice is to stick with the carb setup for now and start to learn about your car. EFI setups can be nice but a carb can be a very reliable system if properly tuned and I'm sure its a lot cheaper to get it tuned then it is to have someone else put an EFI setup on your car. There are a lot of things you can do to make your car more fun to drive and unless your engine doesn't run very well, upgrades like EFI are not one of them... IMO.

They really offer only one kit for the small Ford engines, the manifold changes by engine but most of the other parts remain.
Rusty67 does make an excellent point, did you look at the price of these kits? Remember you will need more, much more in fact, a fuel system, pump, filter, lines, and maybe tank mods. While most of the kit is bolt on, one still needs some skills and aptitude in order to put it together correctly. The install will take someone a few days possibly more, add up the cost per hour for labor, the kit, and all the other items you will need and wow, you could buy another car. Mistakes can be VERY expensive. I'm not trying to insult or question your mechanical abilities, only trying to get you to think a little more about the choice. I wish that I had the money this kit requires when I was your age. Have you had someone with carburetor experience give you help with the carb on your car? Many things can effect the warm up time, is your choke being heated as it should? Simple fixes and adjustments can cure these woes quickly.
a kit from a donor car is going to be 1/4 of that cost...maybe even less. However, you have to know what you are doing.
My advice is to buy a brand new 600 holley with electric choke. If that doesn't satisfy you, try a TBI conversion for around 1000 bucks.

I don't want a carb recomendation war but I would sugest the 670 Holley Street Avenger.
