we are installing a fuel level gauge in my dads car, we found the 2 wires that go to the sender, one is a yellow/white wire, and the other one is a black wire, which is the ground wire, when we conect the yellow/white wire it goes all the way to full, but when we connect the negative wire to the gauge, it goes all the way to empty, we know that those 2 wires are the rigth ones, but how come when we connect the negative, black wire it goes to empty.
