Fuel level gauge

I already did the search. Everyone's problems with the fuel level gauges is that they were stuck on full. Mine is stuck on empty. Any ideas? I see the wiring schematic for my 91 coupe shows the gauge has a slosh module. Where is the slosh module? Just curious of any experiences or info. Thanks for any help in advance.

I actually had my fuel sending unit in my 89 GT fall apart. The plastic box with the float snaps together. Once I found out how expensive a new one was, I just soldered the wire back on, bent the contact arm just a little so it would ride on a new section of the variable resistor and snapped it back together. So far so good!

Only hard part was to grab a beer to give me patience and fish the part out of the tank with one of those grabby snake things.

Put a new sending unit in. Its just to the left (standing behing car) of the fuel pump.

I once had the float come off my sending unit. Put it back on when I did my fuel pump and a week later it came off again. Said screw it and just did milage after that.

Moral of the short story-check your float.
