Does it make much of a difference for a mild to (eventually) moderate build?

I have a stock (for now) 87 302 that I'm switching out the 2v and intake for a Stealth and 4v Holley. Car sat in storage for a few years before I bought it and has corrosion in the tank. I already have new tank kit and figured I may as well replace the fuel line as well.

Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks, everyone--3/8" it is then. That's what I was thinking, but I just wanted to make sure that there wasn't some reason to not go bigger w/ it.

bnickel--thanks for the info RE: 6 v 8. It was originally a 6, now an 8.
