im taking the fuel rail off now and the fuel and fuel return line are attached to a point close to the alternator, at this circular point with a clip.....after the clip is off how does it come apart? or any easier way you know of would be great.
you need a special fuel line removal tool that will push the spring behind the fuel line so you can just pull the lines apart. It's a cheap plastic tool that you can get at any parts store.
These are what you need.
There the same one you can use for the AC lines.
Just slide the plastic bushing over the line and push upward to release the spring.
