fuel line kinks

would a fuel line being kink cause a loss of power at 2000 and having back fire. its not that bad from the outside but i dont know what the inside line looks like

it could cause it to lean it our a little.....is it a steel line or a rubber line.

does it only occur only around 2K RPM or above? wouldnt backfire occur with too much fuel or improper spark/timing?

Mine ran fine with both lines kinked, but last winter the Car slipped off the jack when I was going to pull my jackstand out and it completely crushed my lines, DOH!
