Fuel pressure help

I still have the stock fuel rails and pressure regulator. Saturday I decided to check the fuel pressure, with KOEO I get 10psi and with engine run I get 38 psi with the vac connected 42 without vac. AllData states pressure should be 35 to 45 with KOEO and will vary 5 psi with engine run. After I turn the engine off the pressure slowly bleeds down to 10 psi and holds. Is this a pump issue or regulator issue ? Thanks

That would be in the pump. But if you are getting the proper pressure when running then that is all that matters.

I have seen brand new pumps do the same thing you are talking about. I have also seen where sometimes it hold pressure and sometimes not, but it has never caused an issue with running improper.

I would not worry about it.
