I just installed an Auto Meter electric fuel pressure gauge in my 92 LX. The car has a Vortec SC making 12lbs of boost. Normally when I hammer it (WOT) the pressure runs up from 30 to 50psi. Everything seems fine and the car runs flawlessly, but here is my problem.
After running the car for awhile say an hour or so(really heat soaked) the pressure starts dropping. Today it was only reading 20psi while cruising, but it would still climb to 50+ when under boost. It seems like when it gets really hot the idle and cruise pressure drops, then once I park it for awhile to cool off, I have good idle fuel pressure again. Btw the car always seems to runs great.
