Fuel Pump "Bump" Noise?

After the car has run and is shut off, and even when the key is in the start position, there is a bump sound coming from the fuel tank. It is kinds repitious sorta a *bump* bump bump* bump* bump bump. Is my pump going bad or is it just "bumping" against the side of the tank? The pump is a walbro 255 High Volume Pump. Please help!

Drop the tank..start your troubleshooting there

Are you super sure it's coming from inside the tank?

Pretty sure its coming from there but it could be some where else close by.
