Alright well I had just a little bit of time to work on the car so I got the tank pulled down and all but one "connection" not taken off...it is the one (if looking from back of car to the front)...that is in front of the fuel pump assembly...how does that thing pull off...(remember I'm not talking about the fuel pump assembly (two fuel lines) but the thing in front...don't know how to explain it any better...does it pull off?

And also...I looked through the filler neck grommet and you can see the fuel pump in there...now I see a black wire and red wire in there (looks new but gasoline keeps them clean )...does that mean there is aftermarket fuel pump (done by the previous owner?) in there or do the stock fuel pumps have that black and red wire...

And if that is normal...how do I wire the red and black wires (Walbro 190lph) onto the fuel pump...will I be able to tell when I pull the old fuel pump out how to install the new one?

Are you talking about the fuel filter? It is directly in FRONT of the gas tank.. the lines should come off pretty easy with needle nose pliers, it's full of gas just so you know.

The stock pumps have visible red and black wires, they are positive and negative. Your new pump should be labelled with + and - so you will be able to hook it up easily.

ok, i just installed my walboro 190lph today so here goes: if the "connection thingy" you are talking about is red then it does pull off. to take it off squeeze the clip on the far side at the top towards the center of the connector and wiggle it a bit; it should putt off. the black and red wires coming from the stock fuel pump are normal. i recommend soldering and heat shrinking the new fuel pump wires but whatever you do---DO IT WELL AWAY FROM THE TANK!!!! that could get messy....... be sure to look how everything is set up and where the fuel pump sits in the tank, and just put everything back the same way. once you get it out it should be easy to see where everything goes. good luck!!

No...not the fuel filter...I know where that is

Alright maybe this explanation will be better...okay act like your looking at the fuel pump assembly (middle right of top of tank)...okay know go up (still on top of the tank)...there is a connection...how does it come off?

I pulled out the red connection beside the two fuel lines on the "fuel pump assembly"...

This is all from looking at the back of the car to the front...like the tank is sitting in the car...

I also got two clips...one of those goes on the fuel line coming off the fuel pump assembly...where does the other one go...it is circular and raised but small...

Your talking about the line thats for venting the tank. That line goes to the charcol cannister. Should just pull out or twist out. I forget and i've done it a few times. Its a bitch to get back in, might wanna put oil on the rubber to get it in easier.

It goes to teh second black hose thats there. Its right by the fuel filter. Its called a duckbill clip. No parts store guy has any idea what they are either. Try pushing he two sides in with a pin or tiny screwdriver and try to work it out.

To put it back, just put it in the hose end and push them together.

The second black hose could be anything to me...so it is the one closest to the fuel filter...so far the only clip I have taken off is the "normal clip" on the fuel pump assembly...and then I just unplugged the other one on the assembly with the disconnect tool...so I don't know where it is supposed to go? (duckbill clip)

follow the 2 lines coming from the gas tank to the underbody. Youll see one going to the fuel filter. And the other goes to the front of the car. Its near the fuel filter., kinda sorta.....
