Ok, the 92 LX that I bought to put my Dart motor into was formerly a supercharged car. I was pretty sure it had an after market pump in the tank. The motor that is in it now is mostly stock with minor bolt ons and an unknown cam. I put a FP guage on and with the vac line off the FP was 50psi. Wth the line on it fell to about 44psi. The motor has a stock FPR on it right now but I have an adjustable that i will put on later this week.

1. would you guys agree that there is a larger pump in the tank, if so what size. With my 42lb injectors on my new motor I will need at least a 190 for what Rick reccomends.

2. I saw only a 6psi drop in FP with the vac line on. I havent found any vac leaks, but I seem to remember that there is closer to a 10 psi drop. I know that depending on the cam the vac will vary, but I still think that 6psi drop is on the low side.

3. Does anyone know how much difference a larger FP would make on the psi as compered to stock pump, both using a stock FPR.

Im really hoping to avoid dropping the tank to confirm that the pump that is in there will be enough for my new motor.
