I'm sure some of you remember the old thread I started (old thread) but that one got out of hand.
Anyway, I got the SVTF pump installed. It was a piece of cake, an hour and a half and it was done (with 1 army since I had surgery a month ago). The install included, fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter, MAF cleaned. Everything is runnning good now, but, after the test drive, I have some questions. While driving, the AFR is pretty good except at WOT. The higher the RPMs the more rich it gets. @ 3k 13.8, @ 4k 12.8-13.2, and > 5k 12.2-12.4. I was pretty much 14.4-14.8 across the board prior to the pump going out. What gives?
I talked to the shop that did my tune, they said I dont need a tune after the pump install, they also said that me going from DC, pretty much sea level, to Colorado Springs, 6+k ft, shouldnt make much of a difference. I was only in Colorado for about a month before the pump went out, and I was never really on it much so I didnt notice the AFR going rich at higher RPMs. (on a side note, after searching google, it has been said that altitude should not change the AFR)
So, what is causing me to now go rich at higher RPMs? The pump? The MAF going south? Bad O2 sensors? Dorked up AFR sensor?
