All right 85coupe off of westside mustangs has helped me a lot on this issue (thanks) but I am still having issues with the fuel pump. I bought a brand new fuel pump relay yesterday and put it in. still no workie. I did a bunch of test as per Jrickter off of stangnet.
!. I tested the fusible ink at the starter solenoid 12v
2. tested the mystery connector behind the drivers kick panel. 12v
3. jumpered the relay under the seat. Org/blue to pink/black fuel pump runs.
4. tested the inertia switch key on. 12v on both sides red and red/blck
Now I been thinking I know there has been a lot of discussion about the mass air cars harnesses vs the speed density harness. I have a 87 mass air conversion engine harness and a 89 under dash harness. The mass air conversion was spliced into the stock DA1 computer. The motor ran perfvectly fine when it was in the 87 GT I took the motor out of. So my thoughts are to either get another 89 engine harness or swap out the under dash harness out of the GT. Or I could continue electrical troubleshooting. i just dont know where else to look.Any thoughts would be very appreciated!!
