Hey guys. My buddy is having trouble with his '93 5.0 'vert. He pulled it out of the garage, washed it, pulled it back in. Two days later he got in to take it for a drive and it wouldn't start.
I told him to check for spark and he's gettin' it. He said the fuel pump doesn't buzz when he turns the key to "on." Could the fuel pump just go out all of a sudden like that? Could there be a wiring problem (the PO hacked up the wiring quite a bit but my buddy't never had fuel pump issues until now)? Any fuses, relays or connections to check? It's looking like he's going to try to change out the fuel pump. I just don't want to see him do that and burn up another one because of a wiring issue. Your thoughts would be very appreciated. I'm at a loss and since he lives three hours away in N. Augusta, SC, I can't be much help to him right now. Ideas?
