fuel pump life span????????

my 1999 is passed the 100,000 mark , anybody know the lifespan of the late model fuel pumps????? its still make no noise ,thanks Johnny

If it makes no noise, then there shouldn't be any worries. Fuel pump life much like other parts life varies.

thanks Dark Knight , no noise I was just trying to find out as I make long trips , it seems like a much different set-up than the 5.0 no return , no pressure regulator on the fuel log, and even when you shut the kill switch in trunk it runs a few minutes...also there twice the price.... they even have a completely different way they mount in the tank...bolts in a large circle ...no twist off like the 5.0...seems stronger & better made all around ......
