Ok I am one of those guys that always turns the key and waits for the fuel pump to prime before I start my car. Last few days the pump primes but not as loud as it normally is. If I turn the key off and back on, it eventually gets as loud as it normally is. usually 3 key turns to get it sounding the way it always did. If I try to start off a weak prime, it takes a lot longer cranking over. Does this mean my fuel pum is on the way out??

Thanks

Would have but I always love to get a response from someone like you. Seems you claim to know so much about them, but have not once answered a question on here. TM

When was the last time you changed the fuel filter? How much mileage does your car have? It could be the fuel pump or the filter inside the tank that is starting to get clogged?

Wouldn't You mount it in the car? Why put it on the fuel rair... is it easier to do that? I want to put some guages in my car and this is one of the ones I was looking at.

I'm doing EXACTLY THE SAME THING

My fuel pump is fuxed I think.. Even if I pump it 3-4 times, it can crank for like 5 seconds till it starts.. it's damn annoying but oh well, no money so im living with it.
