fuel pump question, t-rex vortech

Will a vortech t-rex pump universal work on my 2001 gt w/ a saleen roots?

someone correct me if I am wrong, but it should work on any setup. it simple ties inline with the fuel lines next to the fuel filter.

I was under the impression that the T-rex was used in the pre 99 cars w/ the returning fuel system. Starting in 99, they did an in tank replacement of the pump.

If it won't work, and I'm sure someone will chime in and let you know for sure, get the focus pump, it's a direct replacement and will work for you. They run between $90-$120, depending upon who you order them from.

they are used on those cars. this pump was used with the FMU.
it will boost flow. The FMU would restrict the return path back to the tank,
this raised pressure.

so will it work if not where do i get this focus pump and do i have to drop the gas tank????

A t rex will NOT work on a 99 up car..PERIOD.

If you need more pump .Get either the focus pump-(under 420 rwhp) or the cobra pumps for over 420rwhp..

And for those that dont know the 99 up cars are RETURNLESS.So boosting the fuel pressure can only be made by the ecu..
