I am currently switching from my current 2bbl intake and carb to a 4bbl Edelbrock and stealth intake, and am wondering if i can use the fuel pump that i had for the 2bbl?(temporaily of course) If not what fuel pump do you guys recommend?

There is no difference in stock 289 fuel pumps for 2bb or 4bb carbs. You should be fine - even if for a long period of time. Where you might run into problems is if the stock pump can't keep up with any other modifications you have made made to your engine. These would be most prevelant in high RPM situations where you can starve the carb of fuel and start running lean.
If you aren't going too wild with your engine mods, just get a Holley street pump that has a constant flow and rated at 6psi. If you get a race pump, it will require a pressure regulator and is overkill for a mild street engine.
