Anybody,
Ok, so I've had a ton of electrical issues with my '89 LX, but one really caught me off guard the other day.
I just put in a Optima Yellow Top battery, which is amazing (I had issues with batteries dieing in the past), so anyway... car runs, drives and operates completely normally now. No charging or not starting issues.
So I drove my car about an hour then shut it off at my apartment. Then I went back out about 15 minutes later, tried to start it, and the fuel pump didn't prime. Disconnected the battery, still nothing. I was frustrated, so I just went to bed and left the battery disconnected. Next morning, go out to start it, it fires right up and runs like nothing was wrong.
Is this just a sign of a switch going or what? The fuel pump is only about 5 years old and has only been run about 10-15k miles.
Any thoughts or things I should check first?
I just want to get this dang car reliable enough to drive more often. It sucks not wanting to drive it back you don't know if it will start one time or another. My DD Dodge Caliber sucks...haha
Thanks guys.
(P.S. I haven't been on here in about 2 years, so hello everybody!)
