fuel pump relay

I believe one is inside the CCRM, and I'm not sure if there is another. If there is something wrong with the relay in the CCRM the whole module has to be replaced.

I know little on this matter, but maybe someone else can help more.

Donavan is right-on. :nice: The FP relay is inside the CCRM. There's also a fuse for the pump in the underhood fusebox.

If you feel like posting leading questions or a synopsis, the smart folks in here can probably help ya out.

Good luck.

Does anyone know if there is a way to check the ccrm to determine if the relays inside are bad?. Also is this a ford replacement item only?. If so does anyone know how much it is to replace?. Thanks

For the FP (these are CCRM wiring numbers):

Terminal 5 is power to the pump.

Terminal 11 is load-side battery power to they relay.

The 12 volt control-side input is common to the relays in the CCRM.

Terminal 18 should be the ground pulse from the computer to the control side of the relay.

In a nutshell, 11 connects to 5 when 13 has twelve-volts and 18 has ground.

Good luck.
