I have a rubber fuel line from pump to carb with a filter in between. The filter is located near my coil near the edge of the drivers valve cover, and i dont like the looks of it. Is there a steel prebent line with an in -line filter that i can buy?
Steel fuel line conversion from hose with inline filter
I am also trying to replace my pump to carb rubber hose fuel line with pre-bent stainless fuel line (purchased from NPD). My 289 has a powersteering pump and the pre-bent line seems to interfere with the powersteering pump bracket.
Does anyone have any pics of their steel line routed with PS pump bracket?
i have a push loc fuel line system. I have a k&n fuel filter that threads to the 6an contections. works good and its passed by nhra. cheaper then steel braided aswell.
The problem with prebent metal lines is they are bent for the stock carberator. If you have an Edelbrock or Holley on there then forget it. You can buy steel fuel line and a tubing bender + flaring tool and do it yourself.
