I'm looking to upgrade my fuel pump/system on my 99 GT. Whats the best
replacment alternative for my fuel pump(without going over $250). Thanks.

I think you can get an 03 cobra pump around that price.

I thought you had to have the 03 cobra tank with the pump, otherwise it wouldn't pick up fuel when it got below half a tank?

I have always wondered why people buy the tank. I guess some people don't mind blowing money. It takes all of 30 seconds to remove the baffle inside. I was always told not to go below 1/8 of a tank. I tested it numerous times and it seems to operate just as it did with the stock pump I've ran with the fuel light on for a while a couple of times. Unless I have to, I just keep a sufficient amount of fuel in my car anyway. I'd hate to spray and run low on fuel, it could get ugly.

so all you have to do is remove the baffle? Thanks alot, by the way, I really didn't want to buy the tank or go with an inline pump.

Yep, just pull out the baffle and you'll be good to go.
