Got a question next month or so I'll be getting a moongose kit from cobra killer and I already have a steeda fuel pump would it be bad to put the pump in this weekend and drive it for a month or so till I get the s/c kit? Only reason I'm asking is I'm doing a ton of work to the stang this weekend and figured since I'd have half the rearend of the car apart why not just do it now.

I've updated the fuel pump in my car to a Walbro 255lph while I've primarily had basic bolt-on mods for the last 6 months. I'm currently in the process of bolting on a Procharger P-1SC w/ 3 core & will be swapping out that Walbro for Steeda fuel pumps from T&J. So to answer your question: I'm doin it now w/ a 255 Walbro pump and have had no problems w/ my 99GT.

FYI- People advise against using this setup for long though. It's deffinitely not a long term/reliable solution.

you can use the fuel pump now... might want to invest in a fuel guage.
