Fuel Pump

I've come across a Holley Red electric fuel pump that I'm considering for my EFI conversion on my '66. Would this electric fuel pump supply the necessary pressure for the EFI system, or is this for a carb'd engine?

How much PSI is required to run a stock '91-'93 5.0 EFI ?

40 PSI or a bit more for WOT.

Stock pumps for later-HO engines was 95 LPH (as I recall).

I would get the Holley blue as it comes with a regulator that you can adjust the fuel pressure. Don't think they are much more.

here's some comparison on the three - i would like to start with the Red one first since it's free and I just want to get this car driveable, then upgrade later when I add performance parts. do you think the red pump will work for the time being?

I have the stock regulator that is on the fuel rail - I assume all of this should work okay?

I didn't think you that regulator was adjustable, but I may be wrong. I had issues with mine, which is my I got the blue pump.

It comes with mounting brackets. You can mount it whereeve you want, mine's on my firewall. No sense in getting a blue pump if this one is free. You can pick up those regulators for like $15 or so.
