Fuel Rail Bolts????

any suggestions would be appreciated. I got these aftermarket rails. Unknown brand. They were on a fox mustang 5.0 so i dont know why the bolt holes hug the rails so close.

A standard bolt wont turn because the 5 point part of the bolt head hits the rail. What should i do?

A small head machine screw with a round, cylindrical head and a hole for a hex wrench. I can not remember the name, but any hardware store with a good selection of bolts has them. They are usually black and the outside of the head is often knurled.

Cap screw, allen or socket head are three names for the basic bolt design I was trying to describe.

Ok Ill stop into a hardware store tomorrow night and see if they can get one. Thanks

Worst case; remove the rail & drill out the bracket hole opening to the side you need the additional clearance.....

I tried some bolts with a small head. The clearance is still to tight. I am going to try for taller injectors.....

Can you slot the mounting tab on the backside? This would move the rail up a little, and might give you enough room for the cap screws to work.
