While putting the engine back in the car, I got the chainfalls hooked around one of the fuel rails and bent it really bad. I have a spare set of rails but one of the hoses that connects them is broke. I tried getting the hoses of the set I bent but destroyed them in doing so. So my question is , can I use regular gas line to connect the two rails, or can I buy the line with the rubber covering like the ones that are on them. I called the dealer and they don't even sell the rails let alone the hoses

So you are talking about the hose that connects the two fuel rails together at the front or back of the two rails...

Just get some appropriate size fuel hose with 2 radiator style clamps and reconnect the two rails. Nothing special needs to be applied. As long as it doesn't leak when you start the car, you are done.

My guess you will need 1/4" or 3/8" inside diameter hose, but measure first to be sure which one you need.

went to the auto parts store and got some fuel hose and clamps. Good to 50 psi. Says it is not for use for fuel injection line, but I am thinking they mean before the FPR, as the fuel pressure after is only 39-40 psi.
