Fuel/ratio gage

Does anybody now the proper way to connect this to the O2 sensor. I :spot: had one guy tell me to connect it to the Mass Air.

Was it that 7-up guy who told you to do that?

A/F ratio gauges need to read from exhaust, even the cheapest christmas tree light gauges (which I assume you have) read off of the stock O2 sensors. Wideband O2 sensors actually have their own sensor to read exhaust.

The Mustang EEC cannot tell you what the exact air/fuel ratio is, especially through the MAF. It can tell you its target A/F ratio, and whether or not it believes its running rich or lean, but I've used my wideband O2 to show its generally off except at idle. This is also due to aftermarket MAF's screwing up the curve.

If you go to Autometer's site I'm pretty confident you can get an installation diagram for their gauge. Even if its not Autometer's, its a start.

Don't touch the MAF.
