I have an 89 coupe that i blew the motor on from using nitrous and am putting it back together slowly. I got a fresh motor with 1.7 rr and a slight port job done to the heads and the intake is ported as well(both stock). I have 24lb injectors and a 75mm MAF to match it, i plan on getting some goodies with my tax refund and a 150lph fuel pump was one of the things i was considering. Is this goin to be overkill on my car? I plan on running the nitrous still, its a dry system, and i also plan on getting bigger heads and intake once i get this thing back on the road. I figure i should be ok but would like some other peoples inputs. Thanks

No it sounds fine, 24lbers may be a tad big for stock setup but sicne your useing dry nitrous 24's are a good choice along with the 75mm MAF may be a little big, more like 70mm. Most people just buy the 255lph pump and get it over with since it only costs a little more. Other than that it wont blow up with nitrous use and it should run good.
